Ray was one of the nicest men you'd ever meet in rock music. I have great memories of both Venice Beach and the Whiskey A Go-Go. Love the photo with Weird Al, Mark Lindsay, and Los Angeles DJ Dr Demento (wearing the top hat and showing a beard). I remember when LA Woman came out. My siblings, friends, and I loved it. Sadly, Jim left us shortly after its release. I saw The Doors movie and much of it deviated from the real thing. I like Oliver Stone but he is notorious for that. ICYMI today is Super Bowl Sunday here in the States and is now a de facto holiday. Just saying. Finally, UCLA film school is one of the best in the country.
