Really wish they didnt make her character so blatantly modern. It distracts so much from what is otherwise fairly accurate. Just have her outfits and hair be authentic would have made world of difference in my opinion. However the marketing seemed to emphasize her non era accurate dress and hair more than anything else lol.

“Babylon” the movie was basically R-rated “Singing in the Rain“, I really would have preferred if The character Nellie LaRoy was a balance of sophistication and deviance with dignity instead of in your face trashy and tacky with no dignity, The 1930s costumes were way more accurate later in the film, The supposed 1920s costumes looked way too 2020s does 1970s.

I really don’t think Margot Robbie was right for this role. She should’ve at least shaved her eyebrows.
