6 Years ago, I moved to Portugal to clear my head after a painful breakup. A few months into “recovery”, one morning, while driving towards the sunshine on the motorway, this song came on the local radio, I was instantly drawn into this track, I couldn’t believe the lyrics and how this track helped me getting over that turning point!
This is such an amazing track and it came out at the right time for me, it had a very strong impact while in Portugal !
This guy is a living Legend, I got back to UK after 12 months, picked my life back and I’m living the dream now, a peaceful one 😉

Just discovered this album a few days ago, but my god what a sound. Such a 70s vibe in his production. Soulful as hell!

Oh maaan..wat a song!!
Possibly the best iv heard yet from this genuine soul singer n band.
I cant believe that I didnt discover him much earlier n I must say that I think this guy is the best iv heard of the current bunch of soulsters, perhaps even since the greats of the 60's n 70's stax n mowtown etc
I mean, what a voice n depth of singing, the subtle tones n range, the lyrics n compositions..the rest of the band must be mentioned too cos the music they are creating is just awesome.
This song n others such as, on and on, till the end, I need a friend and freedom are jus soo cool n refreshing; but this song is my fave. With its haunting melody n layered textures it not only pays homage to the great soul of yesteryear but brings it bang up to date...add to this the gorgeous vocals n killer lyrics, its just such a touching n consuming experience n lingers in ur mind. Its certainly not a rehash of yesteryear but I think taking that classic soul sound to another level.
Soul music has been done a great justice I feel.
Of all the newbies n wannabies I think that he is the real deal and Im sure he's destined to be a great himself if not already so.
Thank you for the privilege of listening to you mr Harding..thank you n please continue ur awesome musical journey.

Listening to the full album for the first time. I love my soul, a lot of it tending to originate from Stax, for nigh on forty years; I can honestly say this is the best new soul L.P. I've heard in decades. Love it!
