I love how the whole series' art style changes over the decades. You can tell just from looking at the original Mobile Suit Gundam that it was made in the 70s, Gundam 0083 definitely had a 80s vibe going for its characters, and Gundam Wing just feels 90s as fuck. I know there were many others but those are the three shows that had the biggest impact on me.

I'm not the biggest Wing fan, but I can't deny that this opening is basically perfect. The sounds, images and animation all combine into something, very, very interesting. It grabs your attention immediately in the fist 20 seconds and it's almost impossible to look away; even if you've never seen anime or Gundam, this pulls the viewer in.

the thing that always got me about this opening was when it showed the 6 gundams, somone said "Have Heavy arms shooting stuff in space, Have Altron show off its Dragon beam canon, have Sandtrock....do the same thing as the first opening but in space. and have Wing Zero and Epyon fighting"
