Oh, so actually they are spelled, Sine, Cosine and Tangent.

... I initially wanted to share how I always remember which one to use, but it's in another language. So I searched for a translation, but it seems in english there is no term for it...
In german we have a term for the opposite cathetus of the used angle and a term for the adjacent cathetus to the used angle. With this it's quite easy to remember, you just need to memorize that for sinus always use the opposite side. From this you derive everything else.
