EVANS Drumheads: Hydraulic Red Heads

Показать описание
EVANS Hydraulic Red series features a thin film of oil between two plies of 7mil film offering maximum durability, a fat, deep and short sound pioneered by early 70's rock and roll. Hydraulics are famously easy to tune, making them a perfect fix for troublesome drums and players with little tuning experience.

When you play with a low price snare like me, the Hydraulic Blacks sound the best. They kill many overtones. And in combination with a Evans 360 Hazy Resonant head, they sound even better. You can also tune them higher and the great sound stays. What I personally love about the black snare hydraulic is that you can play extremly deep ghost notes, even with high tuning.

Had a clear one in my snare once and it got me a seriously heavy rock sound and I loved it!

By far Hydraulic heads from Evans are my favorite! Have the blue ones on all my toms, and this Red one going to try on the Bass. Evans all the Way! \m/

I've played the clears, the reds, & currently playing with the black Hydraulics on my toms. I've noticed the red ones seem to give more of a fatter and more dead sound than the clears and the blacks do. That's something I'm after however, I would love more color choices with the same level of thickness of heads. Read the red Hydtaulics are two plies of 7mil film with oil between the plies where the clears are two plies of 6mil film and with those to get the dead sound I wanted I had to put DrumTacs on them.

I am a fan of these heads. My favourites for Toms are these guys and the black chrome :)

Is there a way I can hear the hydraulic heads without the talking? I really want to hear the drums by themselves.

Only 1 problem....
Only sold separately. They don't sell packs in Australia anymore. Very frustrating.

I'm getting an 8 piece Pearl Export? Why can't I have ALL red heads?!?!?! Pls make it happen. I'm OCD. It has to all be red or nothing.

+evansdrumheads *I'm looking at the problem of quieting toms and kick* on a Yamaha® RY2T4 kit at OMS Japanese Christian Church (Walnut Creek, CA, USA), in which the stock Remo® heads (clear Pinstripe batters/Diplomat resonants) are overprojecting. I've a contingency plan for EC2S batters across the board, once these drums are back from the shop - the top bearing edges are out-of-true and need machining. Would Hydraulic Clears work as reflectors in the bottom position, cranked above Helmholtz for the shells? (I'm attempting to adapt a tuning trick from Steve Maxwell for intimate environments.)

can anyone recommend a good reso head to pair with these on the toms?

Would this be a good choice for a 12x5 snare?

Tem um som perfeito mas em tom de afinação mais alto ficaria muito melhor.
