Nice review, however 4 drops of smoke fluid is not enough. Should be at least 12 drops especially for the first run

You should look at the new Lionel Lines 120th Anniversary train set that came out this July. It is a Lionchief set with smoke and a coal dumper.

I do like the animated gondola. It reminds me of one of the sets lionel made for Bass Pro Shops many years ago. They had a set on a table with winter scenery and a tunnel and they let the customers control it. There were only two Bass Pro sets in the LionChief era, and the one with the animated gondola was before LionChief was made.
Is it just me, or do Woody's voice lines on this locomotive are done by a Tom Hanks soundalike? I thought Lionel had rights to use Tom Hanks voice clips, at least with the Polar Express sets.
