Ionic 4 Build App – Android – (Windows Tutorial)

Windows tutorial on building apps in ionic to a physical android device. Run ionic cordova run android or ionic cordova build android to get started. Please watch the full video to avoid pitfalls. Please LIKE and SUB if this brought value to you. COMMENT below with any questions/thoughts.

Building to an emulator is quite hard, requires Windows Professional Edition, and I don't recommend either. I recommend using a physical device as I say in the video.

Just tried this, and ran into an error that said something to the likes of: "Unable to start the daemon process. Something about configuration such and such"...
Anybody else ran into that? As far as I could investigate it, its a subprocess of Gradle, but since I've just downloaded the latest version of it, with the latest version of Java, it doesnt seem like I've made a configuration mistake anywhere...

Hello Jameson, I used your tutorial fine on my old pc, now on my new one I get error on build/run that gradle is not found, even though android studio and everything is setup correctly . My guess is something changed with android studio but Cordova doesn't amount for that, ever had that problem ? Can you help me please

Hello, I have skipped the Installation step becuase Android Studio, Node are already install . But when i test 'android' command on CMD it shows it is unrecognized what i am missing?

I'm using android Studio 3.5 and I can't find `C:\Program Files\Android\Android Studio\Gradle` directory. Has it been moved?
