Russia has almost no influence in Italy. There are nearly no ethnic Russians living in Italy, and Italy is pretty far away from Russia, and the Alps are difficult to cross. Italy's population, economy and military are not negligible. The only type of influence Russia may have there is energetic dependence of Russian oil and gas, but Italy gets a major part of its oil and gas from Lybia and the rest of the Middke East trough an Lybian-Tunisian-Italian pipeline. And why isn't the UK included in the Tier 3 countries of operations? Surely Russia has a lot more operations in a country that was the world leader 50 years ago than in a country who lost WW2.
