The advice given in another video saying to go with the horse when you are told the prognoses is dire and the tail is cut and then you pay for the transport and services of last act of kindness yet this does not happen and the horse ends up in the slaughter pipeline anyway, to go with the the horse through the whole process regardless of what the transporter says they will do, and make sure the horse gets to the vet and what you are paying for and being told actually happens. Advocating for yourself and your animals is a must now a days as you unfortunately cannot believe the people you pay. I think these kinds of suggestions and advice must be heard often and repeated. I never would have thought before this suggestion, that someone would be that corrupt or that you have the right and ability to follow through to this degree so, repeat these ideas of what you can do as the owner. This is how we learn how to advocate and assert your rights and freedoms.

I just cried when that beautiful old stallion had to go. But what quality of life would he have had at his age.

Sending love to Kory and Caitlin---wherever they are. Whatever is happening. Also to Kimberly and John the Chicken Man....maybe all of them need rescuing? Good Work still being accomplished by your understaffed intake teams as well as boots-on-the-ground Keith, Jason, Hailey, and all. God Bless and take good care.

Dr. Lydia is so great at explaining the diagnoses and what the treatment can be or not. Such knowledge and compassion.

Dr Lydiia, you are my hero. In 1981 my mare w/a month old colt started showing neurological issues. . I had 4 of the top vets in Scottsdale AZ in my backyard. They heard what was goung on and showed up for me. I was 15. They concluded she needed the last act of kindness. My colt was orphaned. These vets were...are still my heroes for ensuring my girl didn't suffer. My colt went on to a great career then retired to pasture.

It's a joy to see how Hayley has opened up and let her personality come out. She's a great kid and she's become a major member of the team. I know she's planning to take her new knowledge and experience back home to work with horses there but it would be nice to see her stick around at Horse Plus for a while longer.

Truly, it's better the horses get evaluated, off the truck, drink some water, get meds, etc. We never know how long they have traveled or where they have been. Just Thank God, you are home now! We love all the great people at Horse Plus.

I’m so glad Hailey is staying for a bit, she’s like a horse whisperer! ❤

I hope somehow Hailey sees this: You are an inspiration to your generation.

I agree with Tawny that its none of our business why several people are no longer working at HP. However, I suggest that when someone leaves, there should be a simple announcement that they have indeed departed. If the person does not want any info released, a simple "As of (date), (name) is no longer working with HPHS." "For privacy reasons, no further details will be provided.". However, if okay by all in an amicable situation, something like "(Name) will be missed and we thank them for their contributions" or something like that. When nothing is announced, it leaves a negative effect and, frankly, most assume HPHS did something wrong unfortunately. Just one woman's opinion 😁.

Bless you all for everything you do...its very difficult work! 🐎💕

I am thankful for the kindness and care you show to all the horses, but most of all, the kindness and gentleness you give to the horses in the last act of kindness. Bless you all and thank you💕💕💕

Thx for explaining of the meaning of the "cut-tail"

It has been briefly mentioned from time to time, but not clear (enough for me) what it's about.

Thank You
💕💋🐎
