Steve, your looking great my brother. Must be one heck of a change of pace after giving wrecking yard cars a second life! You are the master of giving any car a story and in my opinion, a life!!! Bravo!!!~

My uncle had one of those, was dark green originally, he painted it Canary Yellow, he had the louvres on the rear window, and put a built Cleveland in it, with gear driven timing, ( Mexican blower ) it whined, headers, cherry bomb mufflers, rear tires stuck out past the wheel wells, posi traction, 4 inch tires on the front, traction bars, 4 speed, and it would lay down black strips for long way ! Good Times !

Great to see you back! MACH is a function of temperature, not altitude.

'H' engine code is 351 2V, most likely a Windsor.

Dear Steve
You still show some physical signs caused mostly by long immobility and they will improve with time but your cerebral function, knowledge and humour are intact for the benefit of us all !
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I learn something every time you show us a car, even with those I taught I knew well !
Best wishes from Montreal !

The 69 Mach 1 was always my favorite Mustang. It just looked cool sitting still. Never got to drive one though.

My dream car, definitely not in grabber blue though. So nice to see the interior without the woodgrain trim too.

Yup, 1969 model year with the VIN for the win: 9 for 1969 model year, T for Metuchen, NJ assembly, 02 for Ford Mustang hardtop (not 03 as on the HOC website as 03 is for a convertible in 1969), H for 351 CID V8 with two barrel, and the rest is the production sequence. I think this may have had the Windsor engine originally as the "H" often denoted the Windsor 351 V8. An "M" for the 5th digit denotes a 351 with four barrel in 1969. So, I think this may have always been a Windsor equipped vehicle. The Metuchen, NJ plant was also called "Edison Assembly" and closed in 2004. I have passed by it several times.

Assuming the original color, or targeting it, this would be code "J" Grabber Blue exterior paint.
