Rishi Sunak officially made Prime Minister as Liz Truss resigns

Rishi Sunak has said mistakes were made under Liz Truss's leadership, and warned there were difficult decisions to come, as he made his first speech outside Number 10. He was officially appointed as the country's 57th Prime Minister a short time ago, and the third in two months, after being invited to form a Government by King Charles at Buckingham Palace.
