Thank you so much for making these videos, they have helped me so much as an ACCA student for the corporate and business law subject. Your one simple point is explained in half a paragraph in my textbook, which takes me longer than I need to to actually understand the point.

Loving these videos so far - I'm not an A-level politics student, but since I studied A2 history I've been deeply interested in having a more standardised, formal education in politics. The textbooks seemed a little intense, as did the 500 page paperbacks on Amazon. But this channel is great to dip into every now and then! One thing I would quibble, I believe you said that a constitutional amendment requires 75% votes in both houses and 75% of states. My understanding is that its two thirds for the Congress and two thirds for the States.

correction, the "ENGLISH CONSTITUTION" shared with scotland wales and northern ireland due to the british acts of union/settlement 1707 . Scotland had/has its own constitution but it grants no common law protections enjoyed by the English ? thus the "settlement act" gave them the same rights as Englishmen under English common law ? we should ask ourselves why did the british political establishment remove common law constitutional studies/civics(our birthrights) from English schools and common law training from the legal professions bar exam in the 1970s ? what had they done so wrong (or intended to do) they needed to cover up common law awareness in schools and courts ?

There was a great man who once said “There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is England.” -Winston Churchill
Winston Churchill stood in 1924 as an English Constitutionalist, he condemned and walked away from the main stream parties condemned them for seeking to destroy the English Constitution. He and 10 others all stood as English Constitutionalists! Six won their seats! Why? Because the people of England knew we had a constitution a powerful everlasting constitution that protected the individuals’ rights over the state.
The state exists as the servant of the people in a common law jurisdiction. The English people are servants to no man and servants to no state, we shall never never never be slaves, we shall never ever surrender.

You need to do your reasearch UK Constitution is 1215 is in perpetuity it can not be changed ritten over adapted in any way it has been proven if you know you would know the connections it is the ultimate law legal system is unconstitutional only one law rules their can not be another law UK constitution says so Us took their constitution from English Constitution that is why theirs is codified the English Constitution took 800 years to compile that is why it is in different documents in its original form
