Our now 8 year old sarcoma child is now 1 year off treatment ! He still pulls up this video and it still makes mom and dad cry remembering those days. He gets to see imagine dragons in Chicago next month. He loves their music I think because of this video!

This video came up for the first time right before bed time today. My 3 year old ( 4 next month) is a HUGE fun squad fan. We watched this together and I think he was really connected to Averi’s story. So was I! It really made me emotional. He was asking me about her hair. I was explaining to my son what she went through. He was touching his hair and said something about his hair not being cut. He was really thinking and trying to understand. I took this opportunity to explain how we’re blessed and should never take anything for granted.. whatever his 3 year old brain can take from that 😆 I can see that he was affected in some way from this amazing video. Pediatric oncology is what made me become a nurse, which is why this video also affected me. I am in the NICU now, but bless everyone in this video and all the families who are going through the same. 🫶 Please donate!
