It didn't work for me on a Motorola play g it says the older apps will not work on my phone. I just want to thank you for having a nice slow and even tone with very precise instructions AND immediately understandable!!! I had to listen to you twice just to make sure I was really understanding that I understood!?? (I know hilarious!😅) There use to be many apps on YouTube that one could understand and follow and I hate to say this but not anymore! Your wonderful thank you for the clear clean advice!!! Do you know of another way to force install apps that aren't compatible with your device?

I'm having is I have my Galaxy S4 which is like the latest device and there's certain apps in Google Play that say that this app is not compatible with your device because it was used for an older version of android. Even though it's totally could run. Even trying to sideload an APK of the app it won't install.

I have heard that you can run ADB software on your computer and force install apps but I'm just wondering if there's another way without having to do all that or be rooted?

It worked!! I'm so surprised Lol this stuff never works for me. It took a few system updates to get it up to date but after I put Google play back to factory settings it worked! Thank you so much 🎉

I've tried this for my phone, but I don't think it can solve my problem. A few apps on my phone have suddenly been saying they're for an earlier version of my phone despite me having them and the app working perfectly fine before that. If you could figure out if there's a way to fix it, then please do. If not that's fine

It says my phone is up to date and on the app info it says my android is compatible but it still has that message only for the fitbit app i dont know why

if you said what minimum version of Android was needed that would help I have 7.12 not sure if that is good enough and the reason for the problem
