I put an absolute ton of hours on my built in battery’s on my PS4 controllers and I’ve never had them stop taking a charge. So much better than having to buy batteries

Rechargeable AA batteries are the best battery option. Being able to instantly pop them out and be back at 100% every time it gets low is just the best. Also being able to use the same batteries for multiple controllers is just great.

I'm surprised you didn't mention (or maybe you didn't notice) that there's a charging dock in the carry case, which can be used in the case or taken out and placed on a desk etc.

I like the removeable batteries. It should just come with both a rechargeable pack and AA pack

I must agree with Rich man having swappable batteries was awesome ! Most people who complained about having to use batteries are people who don't even play on Xbox ! I don't know if you mentioned it but the case is also a charging dock !

"The convenience of a built-in battery.." Ugh. I use an X1 controller on PC with rechargeable AA batteries, and when the controller goes dead, I replace them and continue on for another week or two. When these X1 Elite V2's built-in batteries die, that's it.. turn off the game, or use a cord. Sad.

Must be nice to make enough money you can forget about ordering a $150 Controller, I still can't forget wasting $50 on a game I didn't enjoy, because refund policies are a problem on some platforms

I know a lot of people had issues wit the grips coming off the original elite but I bought a grip for it on eBay when I bought it 2 years ago and I’ve played hundreds of hours and it still looks new. People like to treat their expensive toys like trash and expect them to last. Treat your controllers nice, people!
