Great video, worked perfectly. ADDITIONAL INFO: If you have the airbag model, turn it off with your car key (the control is inside the glove box). There should be enough cable to pull out the glove box slightly so you can see the lock on the airbag on/off plug. Push the lock (tiny button in the middle of the plug, one sided) down with a tiny screwdriver and pull the plug out.

This has to be one of best videos ever! Very steady holding camera and excellent lighting, making it easier for us to see what you are doing. I will also replae the air filter and resistor at the same time I replace the fan.

For a Polo 9N/9N3 with a steering wheel on the left side, the part number is 6Q1820015 (yes, without the G). For some reason it's held with 6 screws, not 7. Mine is a 2005 9N3 with Climatic AC.
Changed mine yesterday and works like a charm, the old one was squeaking. Interesting that the screws holding the blower motor were also torx T20 and not T15.
Thank you for the video.
