But why do they hold this tournament so early on the calendar? How does it make sense to start the season in January when the next follow up event is over a month away in late February. And the next LPGA event on US soil isn't for 2 months following Hilton.🤔
Also, I had read that Jin Young Ko and Minjee Lee were subject to LPGA fines for skipping this lone isolated event, essentially set during the off-season. Please tell me that the LPGA commissioner has enough common sense as to not impose these fines... it'd be ridiculous!

I’m enjoying these “Drive On” documentaries. Back in 2016 at the U. S. Women’s Open at Cordevalle, I was in line to buy tickets and a woman came up to me and asked me if I needed tickets and offered to sell me two for half price. Turns out the woman was Jodi Ewart Shadoff’s mother in law! Lol As I handed her the $40, she said, “ I’m so excited, I can get lunch now!”

2 thumbs up but was hoping to get too know more about the players, like the parts with Jodi, her dogs, husband. Didn't get to learn anything about Ashleigh and Gemma. We already saw all the golf things so no need to repeat much of that. Good start though.
