Swanky digs, Ellen!

Curbed is all things home, from architecture to home tech, city hot-spots, renovations, tiny houses, prefab, and real estate.

Our mission is to tell great stories, delivered with all the context you need to know about homes, neighborhoods, and cities—while serving up a constant source of inspiration. If you love where you live, or want to, chances are you feel as strongly about the new park on your corner as you do about your lack of dishwasher, or the sustainable properties of a concrete building in the desert.

That' just too much for 2 people. And its where fires erupt constantly. Great.

Yes, I think it is. I wonder...what is the point that is reached by previously average people, who admittedly have discovered a method to make money, where the little internal voice whose it is to counsel SOME amount of moderation, to remind a wealthy human that it IS INDEED obscene, to have so much unnecessary and probably little used STUFF, so many cars, so many clothes, so many statues, pools and houses (so many fireplaces!) when most of humankind, or, at least a majority of them, live in basic substandard housing, or else out in the elements. I think there is a danger, too, in having "tons" of "stuff, " that the owner will become bored and disaffected, which in such extreme circumstances could result in a PROFOUND depression. kris k.
