Triceratops vs Ankylosaurus | Battle FACE OFF | In-Depth Combat Analysis

This video will explore the outcome of an encounter between the two most feared and armed herbivores in history. Triceratops and Ankylosaurus were both plant eaters, but that does not mean that they were docile pushovers. On the contrary, these herbivores most likely spend more time fighting among themselves than carnivores. By observing the behaviors of herbivores today such as elephants, rhinos, moose, and others, we can see that these guys will fight more often than their predators. Using this as a basis of speculation, we will match up both of these herbivores and analyze their weapons, defense, intelligence, and other attributes that contribute to the outcome of this battle. The ankylosaurus was just very heavily built and had a really OP 10ft tail but the triceratops still has its advantages like it’s deadly 4ft long horns and very good head manoeuvrability and it’s size advantage. Overall this would be a very close battle!

Both of these plant eating powerhouses are sworn enemies of the t rex, but i think ankylosaurus takes the edge here because of being built like a tank!

My two favorite herbivores! As much as I prefer the Triceratops. It made a lot more sense that the Ankylosaurus won. It's literally a walking tank that's heavily armored & has a powerful clubbed tail! One hit from that tail & it's lights out!

I love seeing Triceratops restored with those upwards curving horns (as their horns are curved upwards as juveniles) and could see it using those horns to flip objects and/or opponents onto their backs or to clear the way, love the video

Haven’t watched this yet, but the ankylosaurus has a clear advantage. First of all, it’s club can break bone. Second, it’s practically fully armoured. The only drawback is when it’s flipped over, but there’s a low chance triceratops flip over this tank-like creature.

These are so well put together, and it is nice to see someone is doing this with very high quality and the amount of different battles you could do analysis on is limitless, such as Wooly Mammoth vs Allosaurus, Indoraptor vs Mr.X, Postosuchus vs Gorgonops, etc. Keep it up.

I still sometimes struggle to realize these massive creatures were real and not just created by Hollywood. It's insane that these creatures were just... Everywhere.
