The original launch sequence took almost 10 seconds from the start of the launch, and this is less than half that time.

I like the "Wing Commander" vibes this gives off for me. However, as far as I know, Vipers are pulled into their launch tubes, they don't move their by their own engine power. Also in the new series they still stand on their landing gear when launched - while in the old series the launch sled is a lot more prominent. Overall, not bad what you did there.

Curious, you’ve uploaded several Lightwave 3d video tutorials such as this in the past, but then seem to have switched over to blender. Do you not utilize Lightwave 3d any longer?

Doesn't make much sense that the vipers move to the launch tubes using their engines. They don't even have wheels, just skids. How do they turn around? The whole engineering bay would have to be cleared every time a viper had to move somewhere so nothing gets roasted by the engines. Remember it's a closed space, not like the deck of an aircraft carrier (and there often a little tug is used instead of the aircrafts engine).
