"I like people comparing Johnson and Trump, because it's an insult to both of them".😄

"Boris is a moral windsock"

Nailed it.

This is kinda borrowed from another comment by Tech Geek:

Boris is smart but wants people to think that he is dumb
Trump is dumb but wants people to think that he is smart

The difference between Boris and Trump is that Boris has a dumb/eccentric persona, but is smarter than people realise, and has a way with people. He has managed to avoid getting backstabbed, and while he is being laughed at he (1) became the first conservative lord mayor of London and then (2) became Prime Minister.
Trump however, isn't pretending to be dumb, he actually is.

Gotta say, John's description of Johnson as a "moral windsock" is also is really really good way to describe Lindsay Graham.

Nah, Boris looks like what if Draco Malfoy became an alcoholic

Wait, so they had Kim Darroch, and Borris Johnson.... what if they teamed up with a guy named Dwyane and they could be Dwyane Darroch Johnson.

Boris Johnston is 'a kind of moral windsock'. Classic English eloquence.

Best description of Boris Johnson that I have heard: "Boris Johnson is like a wet very funny at the time but you have to check for damage immediately after." I think that I first heard it from Jon Richardson.

Boris is known for incompetence and not liking paperwork. Sound familiar ?

Imagine playing a sport that involves kicking a BALL with your FOOT and not call it FOOTBALL but play a sport where you carry an oddly shaped EGG with your HANDS and call it football...

I can imagine how it would play out.
"But Father, Manchester United is a fine club, too."
"Get out of my house - you are dead to me, boy."

I know I'm biased towards liking the guy, but Oliver routinely demonstrates an exceptional amount of quick wit and keen insight. His nonchalant use of 'first cognizant (self-aware) thought', and ' he can really contain all feelings about anything and just calcify them into a diamond', encapsulates this.

Boris is actually quite intelligent though everything he does is calculated, Trump is straight-up unintelligent. (Not a Boris fan)

"Boris Johnson is like a moral windsock."

What a perfect observation.

Classic! Colbert: like Boris Johnson is a Trump clone Oliver: to say he's a failed clone of Trump is excellent, because it's an insult to both of them somehow"

My main thought about this video is this: sometimes I think I wear the wrong length of pants, but seeing John's pants come above his socks - not just part of them, all of them - has helped me find an inner peace that I have, until this point, failed to obtain.
