I'l never understand shapewear bottoms that hit at the waist creating a cut

Seriously people... it's supposed to be very thin & stretchy fabric because it goes UNDER your clothes to smooth out curves. The thin fabric prevents sweating, over heating, creasing or visible seams from the shape wear when wearing tight clothes. It's called Skims because it supposed to look & feel like you're not wearing shapewear, like it's just your skin. Please tell me y'all aren't trying to wear these as actual clothing!?

It’s supposed to be see through…..they are skims….you wear them under your clothes…

Generally a lot of shapewear are see through and meant to be worn under clothes to give you more of a shape in the right places. Then when you go out it hold in moisture locks in sweat while letting your body look good and comfortable

They look great but the only reason I can’t get the tops is bc they give me anxiety for my arm pits. Idek I just feel like the fabric would feel wack that close to me. But it looks so cute and I wish I didn’t have pit anxiety lol.

I had all 4 of my babies C - section, classical not bikini cut . When I say my abs are hopeless I dang well mean it. I love skims. I can wear many clothing items I just couldn’t wear AND feel comfortable .I’ve never been bothered by the transparency but I always wear mine under clothes ?

If you live somewhere that has Supre I would recommend their luxe range, their designs are inspired by skims but it's cheap and the material is nice and comfy.
