Excellent. I use a 15 minutes on 15 minutes off timer to charge all of my batteries. The intermittent keeps the batteries from heating up during the recharging process. I use a 10V charger to charge 9V batteries. Works great for many years.

I tried it and it worked but I think it is charged to 7.2v because I used a 7.2v charger
