The Soft Feel is the best ball for Senior golfers such as myself, low spin off the driver gives more distance and it spins enough of the irons to hold the green.

Loaded up on on the Srixon Z Star XV’s when they were doing their buy one get one sale during Father’s Day. Came out to $20 a dozen! Cannot beat the value. I had been playing PRO V1, but I prefer the firmer feel and sound. Gives me the feeling the ball is jumping off the club face. Great tee to green performance, thanks to your review I found my new ball. Yellow of course.

Srixon Soft feel compression is 60. Q Star is listed at 72. For a 75-year-old man with lower swing speed - I'm torn between the two. You did say a couple times the Q Star was close in soft feel to the cheaper ball. The numbers bear that out. (I've played Titleist all my life).
*UPDATE: I've watched this now a second time and the 72 compression Q Star Tour stands out to me.*

After trying higher end of Bridgestone and TM balls, I've come back to the Srixon Q Star Tour. Great value for money. I will play the Q Star for social games and save the better ball for comp days.
Your comment regarding different handicapped golfers would bring another element to a ball test.
