This week, I built another mech for my wild western world. It's the same class as the Wandering Watchtower Mech I built last year, but this variant was customized for use in logging operations. It was inspired by a suggestion from my friend, Max.

Its funny, the tank hull is a sherman tank, historically they put wood on the sides like you did sometimes to counter magnetic tank mines

Looks great! The base would’ve looked cool with a few cut tree stumps to suggest ongoing logging ops.

This is great. I love the sort of weird and wonderful machines that were used for logging in the real world, and this totally captures the feel of those.

I love seeing the imaginary wild west expand! The challenge was sooo much fun and all the builds turned out amazing. 🤠

When you mentioned a saw I thought "wow!!"

I could see this with a "swinging saw" for felling trees but could be in a fight with a monster trying to attack the logging crew out on a job somewhere!

A swinging saw like the one used below our modern helicopters to trim the right-of-ways along large power transmission lines!!

I love how well integrated the driver and the crane operator are in the action of the mech.

I find that when something fails, it still always end up looking good, because you have to add more and more layers to hide whats already done, and layers makes it look richer. Great job as always!

The wild imaginary west is my favorite series, its truly amazing! I feel like it would be awesome to see if maybe there is like a secret mech in development that fights monsters head on and could possibly be made by the Pinkertons in like a sort of workshop far from the town so no one knows

These videos are so relaxing to watch to wind down from the day. I just wanted to say, how I love how everything looks cobbled together, granted that will happen when using different models and media, but it adds to the story telling. No singular construct looks likes like it was made in a factory. Parts might have been, but the end result feels like the builders were figuring it out as they went.

It be sick if you made some kind of hunter going through a forest in the rainy night with some huge monster lurking in the shadows. I love these wild imaginary west crafts!

I love your imagination, C! Also, nice post production FX with that motion tracked text. : )
The logging mech came out beautiful. You have great taste.

What I do not understand is how this man paints in all the little nooks and crevices that come from gluing down unpainted figures and greeblies and yet gets such clean lines and fine detail. Truly a master.

Please make a video explaining the rules of your universe, I think it’s very interesting, and want to write something with the rules of your universe, so please, I’d really appreciate that. Also love your work!

Love the colors - with the shading and drybrushing they tie into the "realism" of the world, but still provide good visual interest. Well done as always!
