I think they should take a step back, to a modernized Connery-era type film. These days people want depth, and I think it could prove quite interesting to move back towards a classic Bond without the drug addiction. That being said, Craig is my favourite Bond (perhaps beside Connery), and I’m looking forward to watching No Time To Die.

I enjoyed NTTD but we can clearly see the direction they are going to push the Bond movies. I don’t have much hope for the future James Bond or god forbid Jane Bond.

People can say they wanted more action scenes and more of the villain. When I left the theater what I remembered most was the Drama the love story and the daughter he never got to know. Now I see why Daniel wanted this Bond Movie. It was beautiful ❤️

Fictional male characters are expected to "evolve, " but no one ever expects fictional female characters to "evolve." James Bond is fantasy masculinity, written by a male author for a male audience. Women can appreciate it if they wish, but it's not justifiable to turn Bond into an SUV driving dad who takes his daughter and her stuffed bunny to ballet lessons.
