I'll make a park with the dinosaurs roaming free, and the citizen living inside a cut off area. Did this in Genesis when I was like 12 or smth.

This game has the potential to be either VERY exciting and fresh - or VERY repetitive. So far, every demo and screenshot shows the same thing. It has atmosphere, but I haven't seen anything yet that makes me think I would have fun the second time I play it. PROS: The dinosaurs are the best ever, They have lots of personality. The graphics look realistic. There will be events (like disasters) to throw in a curve ball.
Potential* CONS: Where is the real management? And I don't mean just choosing missions for the security guy or the science lady. What about park management like designing tour routes for the self-driving cars. Can we make a kayak/canoe path for guests? The people just walk in one direction: forward. They don't give feedback or have an attitude that dynamically adjusts. Are there different types of viewing stations for guests - or do you just build the same one type at each enclosure and that's it? Are can we actually design our own holding pens like in Zoo Tycoon 2? Are the research paths the same every game so that I have to start with a struthiomimus, and a lambeosaurus or is there a "free-build mode" where I can research whatever I want in no particular order? For hybrids, Do I actually mix/match different DNA strands to create traits of dinosaurs (like a dinosaur creator minigame) and make whatever I want, or do I research certain hybrids that are predetermined?

So far, these demos haven't told us that this game is anything special.

I REALLY hope this game will be as good as JOPG or even better! I really need a new dinosaur game after Ark was such a disappointment. I'm happy to see they keep improving the game and if they decide to releasde dlc which have value, i would be glad to buy it.
