I’m joining in with y’all doing this years Sewcialites 2. I’ll be using Love Lily fabrics. My moms name was Lily and I miss her so very much. She passed in 2017 and this will be in honor of her.

Since I missed out on the first Sewcialites sew along I have already pulled my Kaffe Fassett FQ Bundles and yardage that I have been collecting for Sewcialites2...Super excited and I'm like you Kimberly, in the case of not needing a big quilt, so I will be doing the 6" blocks but planning on adding a border with those wild Kaffe fabrics. And thanks to Kimberly, I have renewed my Sew Sampler subscription again😁. I really loved the SPOOKY BOX this time! Thanks FQS for all you guys do and give back to the A Wish is dear to my heart as hubby and I have been supporters for many years! 💓

I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate and admire you. I relatively new to quilting having started during the pandemic. I learned by watching YouTube and have learned to much from you. I did the 2022 Heartfelt QAL and used a fabric I had had but never used because I was afraid to cut into it. But the blocks are done and love it. I love that it benefited Make a Wish and congratulations on raising so much money. I also am retired and living on a tight budget. Your free patterns and QAL are a such a great help and I think it is so gracious of you to give tips for using our own fabrics and you don't pressure to purchase. I try to purchase from you whenever I can. Just one more thing...I rarely make full size quilts and usually make table toppers or lap quilts so thanks for the 3 sizes and tips to make blocks smaller..Thank you again

Yes, This will be my second sewcialites I will be doing. I’m using a blend of Bonnie and Camille fabrics. Such as one fine day, smitten, Sunday stroll, early bird, little snippets, a good life and shine on. I can’t wait to start. Thank you for your great tutorials.

I’ll be joining Sewcialites 2. I sewed the first one as well. Learned so much and had a ton of fun sewing along. As I read some of the comments and was relieved to see I wasn’t the only who had trouble deciding on fabric. I finally landed on Cinnamon & Cream, I just love the peachy tones. For my background I’m using Kimberly’s favorite 20708-36. So appreciate all the work that goes into hosting all the great QAL's that FQS does. I found the livestreams at the beginning of the pandemic, and have been incredibly grateful for this great global quilting community. The inclusivity and positivity at FQS is a wonderful thing. Thank you Kimberly and the FQS TEAM.

Yay! So excited! I did Sewcialites 1 last year. I will be joining in this year with Sewcialites 2. I made the 3.5 blocks last year from my stash and will continuing this year using my stash. I will be adding this years blocks with last years block. Love making these little blocks. Thank you FQS!

my mom and I are very behind - still working on Sewcialites 1 and we are doing all scrappy blocks from our stashes and white on white backgrounds. We will be doing the same for Sewcialites 2. Thank you so much for all the free patterns and tutorials!

I am looking forward to Sewcialites 2. I completed Sewcialites 1 last year and gifted the quilt to a new mum. My quilt will likely be totally scrappy-my favourite kind. I like the process of making random fabrics come together cohesively. Thanks so much for all your free patterns. I learn so much from the quilt alongs.

I will be participating in Socialites again this year. My Sewcialites quilt from last year won first place at my local county fair in 2021. I love sewing all the blocks and I learned so much about block construction. My skills improved immensely. I will be using either Emma fabric from Sherry and Chelsi/Moda or some Singer brand high-quality fabric in fat quarter bundles that I found at Joanns. I have not decided which yet. I’m so excited, I can’t wait to get started!
