Appreciate your video editing and rendering test. Not many other reviews cover productivity and practical work. The extra cooling and power supply are the big advantage over a laptop. Mini power house. Good detailed review 👍

I have the older one, the HX80G. I use it together with 4 wireless xbox controllers for local coop on my TV. It's such a great device. I use it more frequently than my consoles, due to the availability of all steam games.

Impressive performance in such a small form factor! It's truly great that temperatures can stay in check without the fan getting abnoxiusly loud! Really good performance with all the ports you could want! Remarkable indeed Sir Chris.
I really hope mini PCs like this go down in price a bit soon! 😎👌👍

FINALLY....found a video where someone goes in-depth about 4K video editing on these small PC's.
The entire YouTube family talks about gamers and gaming on these mini PC's.
Quite annoying, because not everyone is a gamer and many people want to buy these machines for video- and graphic work.
You, on the other hand, explained thing very thoroughly and with an excellent fashion.
You channel therefore gets subbed and followed by me.
THANKS a million, man!

As of earlier this year, it is the most powerful Ryzen mini PC so far. 2 USB-C 4.0 ports at the back are a definite yes since dual displays via HDMI ports are good enough for me & I can use those USB-C 4.0 ports for faster data transfer & of course, external GPU stuff. Just need to wait for mini PCs powered by Ryzen 7000 laptop chipset series with RX 7600M or RX 7600M XT graphics card.

this is the one I bought. I'm so hyped for it. My current pc has serious problems and crashes sometimes. Lots of random wifi lag spikes, etc. Only 8 gb ram too

Help! I 'm stuck on the aptio setup bios screen. There is secure boot disabled, but there is no CMS enable option. There's also no fast boot option. Can anyone help me please.

They have the same mini PC but with a 5800H (called HX80G) instead of a 6900HX, getting that with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD works out slightly cheaper than even the 6900HX barebones model. If you've got the dedicated 6600M then I don't see the point of getting the beefier APU (it's not like you need the integrated graphics and the CPU performance difference won't be that big).

I wish you had demonstrated more games but I understand your time constraints. I am looking for something like this for the living room to run games such as Destiny 2 and No Man's Sky with a wireless mouse and keyboard.

Super excited to finally see mini PCs with dedicated graphics! Personally, I'd prefer a slightly slower CPU with a faster GPU.

04:20 I notice the RAM and NVME SSD have heat-sinks on them, I presume if you buy the barebones version the heatsinks would not be included?

So the bios settings you changed. Can you leave it like that forever or will it eventually ruin the pc?

For anyone wondering yes this pc is quite the beast but being small it heats up quick and can crash. Can play pretty much any game fps above the 80s tho best to medium settings to avoid the overheat

if you use faster monitor, can it bypass 60Hz on hdmi and usb4 port ?

I wonder if hx200g will be released soon so hx99g gets on a very good discount, as hx80g is. I would buy 80g now (instead of 99g) since it costs 200 euros less (and it has the same VGA) but I read that 99g is more quiet and temperatures r lower. I am talking about 1080p gaming.

Awesome video! I got my HX99G and I'm loving it but.. I have my wattage at 54 as per your video I also removed Deep Sleep and have it on gaming performance with no fps limiters on and for some reason my CPU and GPU usage stays low. Also Amd's Adrenalin software doesn't show overclocking options for the gpu but it does for the CPU. Any thoughts? One last thing I am getting decent frame rates with most games at 1080p and 1440p but it seems it also stutters here and there at times. Also I am on high performance for power setting in windows.

what are the nightmarish problems you have had with it ? like wifi6E slower than 802.11 a bluethooth so blinky as to not be usable . usb 3 mouse and keyboard combo hardly useable when any other usb device plugged into another port . rebooting frequently any other problems you have come into ?

Hola. Gran trabajo.

No estaría nada mal hacer un vídeo explicando toda la configuración que hay en la BIOS de este HX99G.

Saludos y gracias.

Hi,
Can I ask ?
When you ordered and how much time you waited to arrive?
