Sorry to hear about the bad experience with our part. It is not often that we get bad reviews and we hope you'll give us another chance to prove our brand worthy. I am always seeking good instructional videos for my customers. Maybe, if you could reach out the next time you are interested in a Hot Racing part, we can work something out.

Unfortunately a lot of the reviews are leaky diffs. I put gasket maker on the screw heads and then plugged the bottom of the holes on the opposite side of the diff. It works great it's been in my rustler for quite a while and has not leak to drop.

Traxxas has the new seal diff which I have. Magnum 272 is amazing. Can't beat it for $100

The car/truck will rotate better if you use a hot diff versus the stock diff with bad horsie. I tried both, same setup, and the hot diff definitely lets the rear end rotate more and gives more bite. When spinning the rear tires they feel the same but perform very different.

Yep, mine leaked too. Not using it again. Now trying the FLM sealed diff.

I assume FLM is the next port of call. Bummer about the the HR diff. I was thinking of getting one for the kids Rustler. Maybe not now.

plenty of people with no issues, especially when you didnt follow the instructions. add loctite. not optional

Everyone that uses the HR sealed diff has to use teflon tape on the screws. That should fix your problem.

It says I’m the included instructions to use loktite. That way the screws don’t leak lol. Bit stupid to hate on a product when you can’t follow simple instructions...
