I'm not a Broncos fan. But I think this guy Nix is a rock solid QB and I think he's going to be very, very productive sooner than later. He is nothing like Drew Lock.

Raiders fan here, but also an Oregon fan. So you can imagine how conflicted I am about Nix being with Denver. He is a STUD. An absolute WINNER. Will be rooting for him except 2 times a year. They also drafted his buddy Franklin at WR. Don’t be surprised if he balls out.

I'm betting Nix will have the best season of this year's rookie QBs. His senior year ... 45 TD to 3 interceptions. Williams didn't do nearly as well, nor any other QB in the class. He's accurate and smart, certainly qualities one looks for in a starter.

Totally opposite of Drew Lock. Drew was a dingy gunslinger. Bo is a tactician with accuracy. Bo is more mobile as well. Lock wishes he has Bo's intangibles.

Nix is smart and accurate. Thats what Payton needs to run his system. As long as they don't ask him to do too much, he will be fine.

My question (as a Broncos fan who has been following their training camp) is who has rich heard saying he is Drew Lock plus? Because I haven't heard or seen him called that anywhere. This kind of stinks of a Chris segment that's all about the hot take, hoping for engagement.

As a broncos fan. I just hope Nix's game can translate to the nfl level. He doesn't have to be all world but I'd like him to be good. Heck if his ceiling was a Steve Mcnair or Carlson palmer I'll take that.

Denver hasn't had a qb in a long time. People always talk about fits and I'm going to trust in Payton simply being he's watched this guy and did his homework and said he can win with this guy. He didn't try and move up or anything if he liked the other 5 he would have moved up in my opinion but Nix fell to him and he took a swing.

I keep saying we need to have some patience with Nix.
Let's see if he can make nfl throws.
Let's see how he is on the money down which is 3rd down.
Let's see his red zone efficiency.
Let's see how composed he is in the pocket.
Td to INT ratio.
How many dropbacks he averages without taking a sack?
Two minute drill.
Or my personal favorite game winning drives.

He doesn't have to have all that year one but if he has maybe 4 out of all that we'd have something to build on.

I'm hoping Nix can fit like a puzzle in Sean's Scheme we just have to see and if he does I think he can surprise some people. Pre-season can't happen soon enough 😁

He left Auburn to get out his dad’s shadow and because Auburn hired Bryan Harsin. Nix had enough sense to know Harsin wasn’t gonna help him develop.

If Bo Nix wins the starting the job over whoever the other QB is... The expectation is pretty much the same for any other rookie. Just ball out the best you can. See your strengths and weakness then build upon them for next season

Mahomes was drafted at #10. Granted, Nix is not Mahomes, but it goes to show the analysis and scrutiny of QBs is still a shotgun science with mediocre aim. So going 12th no matter how many QBs were before him doesn't matter. Prescott, Jackson, Rodgers, etc.

Bo Nix is the NFL equivalent of a Jay Wirght-era Villanova basketballer. Never going to be the flashiest but they just win with consistency and effort.
