The amount of expats who come to me with offshore bonds in their portfolio and are unsure what they are, the charges, management fees, and lock-in periods is the reason why I make so many videos and blogs around these.

I will counter that, they can be useful in certain situations for expats, however, in my experience, they don't suit the majority of investors.
