The Guild M-75 was introduced in 1954 as the "Aristocrat" and was in production until 1963. This thinline hollow body features a spruce top over a Mahogany back and sides, with no f-holes. This particular example is in remarkable condition and comes with the original hard case. This guitar is available for purchase at Carter Vintage Guitars.

We plugged Joey into a 3rd Power Wooly Coats Extra Spanky set clean. The amp was mic'd with both a Shure SM57 and a Cascade Fat Head BE. The room was mic'd with the stereo capsule on a Zoom H6N.

Nice guitar played and recorded very nicely. I'm going to have to listen to more of Mr. Landreth's recordings. Great stuff.

One of the most "open" sounding guitars ive ever heard. Like no natural compression at all. Theres nothing to hide behind, its almost like you can hear every stray vibration. I would sound like complete shit playing that guitar.
