this song signifies half-life so perfectly for me... it has that gloomy tone to it but yet it's accompanied by catchy drums and riffs. it's about persisting and surviving in the harsh and unfair universe the game is set in. no matter how hopeless any situation might seem, humans will fight on and overcome by adapting to their environment and using their ingenuity.. i love it

I LOVE Highway 17. Such a great chapter, and this particular segment is one of my favourites in all of HL2. Using the crane to bash the Combine then picking up your buggy with it and crashing through the window as you make your escape.... AH! So good!

You know... I'd just like to say.
I first noticed this during the You're Not Supposed to be Here video, but it just rang out to me again.

This is really cool gameplay.

It looks pretty skilled, but there's an artistic flair to it in particular that gets to me. Switching between weapons all the time, creative flowing action, taking advantage of the environment...
Basically how the game beckons you to play, from my perspective.
And how I wish I could.

Long story short, it really adds to the video. Great job!

I totally love how it feels good when you listen to it and when you do actually move on with things on your life. Especially if you're letting some things of your past with a big blast and it feels like you're starting off in a rocket for the better future. Quite ironic that I mentioned rocket which was in first game and Drums and Riffs was playing after we actually start the rocket in Black Mesa. But seriously - this is the perfect track for moving on. Imagine yourself walking on a field near forests in autumn or spring, skies are cloudy and the only thing that surrounds you is the nature by itself - you walk here and there looking at the beauty of the nature and then you do think for yourself and realize - this is the perfect time to get better on your life. Personal experience, by the way. What a piece of music Kelly had written...
