The housing announcement was a joke. Homeless people need shelter space, not downtown condos. Middle class families don't have $2500 a month for rent. There will only be 30% of units set aside for rent geared to income. Food banks are failing due to demand. A Toronto friend making $50k a year stood in a food bank line for 40 minutes last week and received no food. They handed it all out. She did get a gift card however. It was for $10. Take out the TTC fare to go shopping for the food and she got what, $3?? Too many immigrants in the line she said. COVID test story? If the data was faked someone needs to go to jail.
