Here I show you what you may not have learned in school: the rules of divisibility for 7, 8 and 11. There is a formula for which one can derive divisibility rules for ANY whole number (except for 0). All of these divisibility rules can be mathematically proven.

Divisibility Rule of 4 : 
The last two digits are divisible by 4.

Example : 
i) 56184
ii)6428

Explanation : 
i) 56184
Last two digits are 84,  
Divisible by 4, = 84/4 = 21 

ii) 6428
Last two digits are 28,  
Divisible by 4, = 28/4 = 7.

Both the numbers can be divided by 4.

For number 8, all you have to do is check to see if the last 3 digits are divisible by 8. Do long division, which is is much more simple than this process. your other tactics are cool though.

you are making a mistake, Divisibility rule of 4 should be like this --->
