Now if I could only get my 87 C4 Vette to sound like a VQ or transplant one! There is a very special write up by famous auto engineer & author David Vizard called the Zero Loss Exhaust. Tons of info out there, & im sure no VQ owner ever integrated his design of a Pressure Wave Termination Box after the Y on a VQ. Look into the design as its a calculated internal volume of an empty muffler with a pipe extended into it 8 times the volume of a cylinder. Essentially, its an anti reversion equalization box.
I wonder if any of the VQ headers come with individual anti reversion chambers on the primaries? This is of F1 technology, & was patented by Jim Fueling in 1980 & these Anti Reversion Mufflers, can be purchased. Nascar & other racers used them to be able to stop exhaust reversion especially when running big cams & not loose manifold vacuum, but gained a few inches. These devices also give improved throttle tip-in response. Made & now licenced under & by Pro Fabrication Anti Reversion Muffler, & sold under DynaTech, Henderen Racing & Schoenfeld, ect. These would best be installed before the cat to be most efficient & effective, but could be installed after the cat. Not sure why everyone doesn't jump on anti- reversion chambers unless they will bet caught with patent violation.🤔. I'd love to hear either those Anti Reversion Mufflers or a Pressure Wave Termination Box on a VQ! I'm thinking LFA sound.🤔

The combination i have is tomei headers, high flow cats, and the HKS hi power dual exhuast ahh man thats the perfect setup honestly not too loud and its got a burrble pop to it its just so good

Wish you’d do a DB reading at 50ft wide open throttle. That’s how every track I’ve been to measured their DB requirements.
