The evo cage purpose is to counter tank like evo pekka mega knight gob giant etc, all those cards are one cycle, so it makes sense to make it one cycle so you can have it on your hand when opponents use those tank cards. When you fight against log bait or cycle decks the evo cage is pretty much the same as the normal one.

Because everyone is going to buy the pass to get it while it’s broken and then after sales go down they’ll make it a 2 cycle evo

musketeer being so bad that it isnt even listed is wild.

Evo cage is meant to be a defensive card that doesnt live long while evo lumberjack is almost guaranteed tower damage

Its really obvious they plan to make a evo balloon 🎈 and they both need one cycle

Haven't we learned by now? Supercell does this so people will buy the card. After about a month or two, they'll nerf it in line with everything else. They've been doing this for the last 2 years!

My theory with the lumberjack being 1 cycle that if an evos powerlevel is on the lower end getting it 1 cycle would be reasonable but I feel they vastly underestimated how good the evo lumberjack would be, it’s literally free damage most of the time.

Because Lumberjack is a 9 elixir card duh, when do you see it without Balloon 😂

it’s really simple actually. cash grab then nerf to two cycles

2 cycle for Lumberjack gonna be the nerf

The only problem with the graph is that the one cycle low elixir is marked as not viable, but it would actually be overpowered, an example is when the evo bomber was first released

The difference between the cycles is due to different archetypes. The cards normally used in beatdown decks are 1 cycle due to beatdown players normally only having about 2 pushes a game. The cards normally used in a cycle deck have 2 cycles because in a cycle deck, you can generate more pushes.

4 elixir: 2 cycles

5+ elixir: 1 cycle

3- elixir: 3 cycles

Lumberjack being just 1 cycle doesn't make eny sense

makes a ton of sense, they make the new thing whatever it may be overpowered as fuck so that people will buy the pass or gems or whatever they wanna sell

They'll do the same as they did with the bomber, make it absolutely broken and wait until everyone has bought it to then nerf it to the ground so everyone will buy the next. Simple as that, there's no elixir related reason to why is one or two cycles, the reason is just money. I'll never spend a single dollar on this game, now you can't make any progress, everything is randomized, you can't even use gems to buy wild cards and upgrade the cards that you really want. Its total bs. And now they give us evo barbs, the worst and first evo that was introduced in the game. At this point they're just laughing in our face

The most ridiculous part is he wreck havoc for a damn month and all they did was put a small nerf to the ghost's duration.
