Dreaming of an HDMI port on your Atari ST?
I've tested many "budget" converters, this video is the complete review.

If you can afford, the OSSC is always the best choice, otherwise, check out the other options!

Note: The last adapter shown is NOT a line doubler or a scaler. It will only work if your TV is able to handle 15KHz on the HDMI. For some reason, most of my TVs have a wider frequency range on the HDMI port than on the VGA, while being processed by the same chip. If you can find your TV's full specs, look at the HDMI supported resolutions to see if 15KHz is supported!

EDIT: Links below are showing product unavailable, it seems they updated their product lineup. I would assume their new products works a similar way, despite having a new form factor.

Regarding the HDMI converter you called "junk" that could possibly be used on other machines, well, I made a video a few months ago where I tested that one on the Oric, and it did not work at all, so it's junk for me as well :)

Now, generally speaking, for people who have more than Atari ST, it could be a good idea to take a look at the OSSC, it is quite more expensive than other devices, but this thing is supported, it does not have annoying OSD that appear on your videos, and it works with pretty much all the retro hardware (sometimes requires addons cards).
