That thing is dead if you look closely under the persons hand you can see something dangling, and that’s the sack the crocodile is supposed to be feeding off in the egg, if taken out early it might not make it, and if you can’t see it you can see the gap between the middle of the finger, obviously the gap to hold the sack of the crocodile.
