SSIS is a very powerful ETL tool. Given the fact that it is used to extract and load data from different data sources it has a myriad of options available to achieve the task. Developers are often confused about the difference between each task and how much of an impact they have on the overall load times . In this video will demonstrate each of the different options available and the performance implications they have with regard to data load times on the database server specifically Microsoft SQL server. We try to cover this data sources in a way that makes it clear that they are not necessarily interchangeable and work differently based on different scenarios . By understanding the advantages and disadvantages of each of these tasks and methods we hope that user would be able to make a more informed decision on how to load data using SSIS .
