Do you know the age of Elizabethan is consider as, 'The first creative period of
English Literature.' ? Queen Elizabeth reigned England from the year 1558 A.D to 1603 A.D and this period is considered as the golden age for English literature. This is the period when the influence of Renaissance was slowly spreading to England. Amidst victories over Spain, colonization missions, moderating the religious fervour, improvement in science and technology – the theatre along with other poetry and prose flourished during the period. In this lecture, we are going to discuss all major writers and poets who made this era as the golden age with their contributions to Elizabethan literature and English literature.

The lecture is really nice. But one mistake is there christopher marlowe, greene and nash graduated from cambridge university while peele, lodge and lyly graduated from oxford university.

one thing which you could learn is the usage of "air quotes, " they are used ironically like verbal or situational irony and not to emphasize any point. So when you say the perfect man of renaissance with air quotes, it is to mean imperfect man.
