Displayed Attack stat value:
• Warrior’s default Strength cap of 46
• Panette and Rosado having a +3 Strength cap modifier. Boucheron, with his +1 modifier, can achieve the same if his personal skill activates.
• +2 Strength effect from the tonic. Cooking can achieve +3 (cooking affects and tonics don’t stack), but you can’t bring cooking effects into Tower of Trials maps.
• Edelgard Bracelet granting a +5 Strength when at level 19 or 20 in Bond Level.
• Chrom’s Rally Spectrum granting +3 Strength.
• Byleth’s Instruct from a Back-up unit granting +4 Strength.
Total of 63
Displayed Physical Attack value:
• Aymr’s default Might of 24.
• Aymr’s might being augmented by 3 levels, bringing the total might to 30.
• Alfonse Bond Ring on an adjacent ally granting +2 Attack with its Spur Attack.
Total of 95
Displayed in-battle stats:
• Alear’s Divinely Inspired granting +3 damage dealt.
• Veyle’s Fell Protection granting +1 damage dealt.
• Aymr’s might being tripled due to Super-effectiveness, giving +60 damage dealt.
• Veronica’s Reprisal giving +49 damage dealt at 1 HP. Warrior’s HP cap is 94, increase to 99 by an HP Tonic.
• Edelgard’s Weapon Sync+ granting +7 Attack when initiating combat while Engaged.
• Three stacks of Poison granting +3 damage dealt.
• The enemy having 5 Defense gives us -5 damage dealt.
This brings the total damage to 213, but game gives the amount as 215, and I am not entirely sure where the extra 2 points of damage come from.
Finally:
• Merciless boosts the damage by 50% when attacking a Broken enemy, making the damage dealt 322.
• A critical hit with Chrom’s Brute force quadruples the damage, giving us the total of…
1288.
Note that Camilla’s Drogon Vein Smoke reduces unit’s Defense by 5, however it does not apply to multi-tile enemies, even if all the tiles occupied by them are covered in Smoke. The lowest defense Dragon-enemy I managed to find had 9-defense, reduced to 5 by Corrin’s Draconic Hex. If there exists a single-tile Dragon enemy with 13 or less defense the damage could get even higher. The Dragons in Tiki’s Xenologue have about 12 Defense if done early on, but several tools necessary for highest damage are not available at that point.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to increase the damage even further or knows where the extra 2 damage came from, please let me know!

The extra 2 DMG comes from poison, which actually grants bonus damage of +1/+3/+5. Anyway, here's an actual improvement idea, wouldn't Areadbhar technically be dealing more damage than Aymr with the combat art?
- Aymr: 24 Mt -> 30 Mt (augment)
- Areadbhar: 14 Mt -> 20 Mt (augment) -> 30 Mt (weapon property) -> 40 (or 60?) Mt (combat art)

The obvious downside is needing to grind for 5 of these stupidly rare Bane books, but it also gives the benefit of not needing to use Wyrm as your enemy of choice. As such, we should be able to reduce the defence of any enemy with weakness into 0. I'm thinking about Cavalry since their base Def is only 4, and unlike Fliers they don't ignore terrain.

So yeah, I'm seeing potentially a big increase as follows:
5 Def + 10 Mt * 3
=> 35 base DMG
=> 140 crit DMG

This isn't the highest damage ever dealt in a single hit, 1536 has been done, though the person who did it was a bit dumb and forgot about the 20 Stat cap so you could actually get 1540 I believe if you copied that setup with Panette or Rosado
