Regarding the "network requirements" section (last slide) how would you categorize a phone, computer, or laptop in a store that's set to "display mode, " where its basically just allowing random customers to try it out and see its features?

Maybe my question is multi-pronged or lacking info bc first off Im assuming they use a VM of the os the laptop would come with (so a Type 2 hypervisor?) but how else would they be able to secure and wipe those devices so easily for open box sales?

does private networking addressing a VM only allow it to communicate with other VMs on the same machine/using the same hypervisor? i didn't fully understand that part

Professor Messer, could VMs also be considered emulators? As a kid i used to take emulators of various gaming systems like the Nintendo 64, Gameboy Advance, etc along with their ROMs and BIOS and installed them my Android system to play retro games on a modern OS, VMs sound very similar in that sense. Just more utilitarian and less time wasting.
