Thank you for this video. I have been buying cubed butternut squash cause it was just to difficult for me to peel. Now I can do it myself. Cut and cube easily. It cost a lot more to buy it already cubed so now, I get to save a few dollars.

Butternut Squash is hard to cut and making it easier to peel and cut up makes cooking it faster... removing the seeds too!

Excuse me, but this is a squash, NOT a root vegetable. In fact it is not a vegetable at all. It IS a FRUIT!! Fruits have seeds vegetables do not!.

Cut a couple of slits, you say, and then you proceed to make 15 cuts in the squash. I guess you don't know that "a couple" means 2!
