Man, I've spent like half a day dealing with the 'bluetooth adapter' device and troubleshooting it. Eventually the issue was not with bluetooth. I am most grateful.

for people complaining about bluetooth-
*this works for bluetooth too actually, instead of the display driver, locate for the bluetooth device nd "manually" update the drive from "Let me pick from a list of-" and select the latest driver update nd restart. Also turn off the internet while doing this.
Worked for me.*

thank you so much. I had been looking for help with this for literal hours and every other tutorial out there was just "update the bluetooth drive" or somthing akin to that and none of them worked. Never would have thought the display adapter could be the problem.
