McDonald's actually ran a test for veggie burger in North America they called, "McPlant" but they didn't take off so it was canceled. As to why? Well, I've never heard a vegan/vegetarian say they wish McDonald's sold food catered to their diet. According to their website though, certain cities in Texas and some in Canada still have the burger. I assume it's updated and accurate but both areas are too far for me to confirm 🤷‍♂️
