Top Boy - Sully Kills Dushane

Dushane saved Sully's life in every single season of the show. After he gets rid of Dushane, he doesn't last 10 more minutes.. go figure

If PTSD had a picture it would resemble Sully. Sully was a walking zombie at this point and had been for some time. Just collecting bodies, friends and foes it didn't matter.

You know what’s the darkest part about his death? Dushane realized he ended up where he fought so hard not to be, dying in a dark alley, like a nobody, broke.

His biggest fear became reality.

I don't understand how people thought this was a terrible end for Dushane, because he died in the gutter of his estate. The series is one of the most realistic around the topic, and this is usually what happens...no standoffs, no happy endings.

The way he tells Dushane to get up almost has a child like innocence. It’s like he couldn’t fully comprehend what he had just done, expecting Dushane to get up and keep going like they always have.

Outside of when Sully visited Dushane and his mom at the apartment this is weirdly the only other scene I can think of where Sully shows he actually cared for Dushane. Great scene, horror last season.

Man Dushane deserved better, if it wasn’t for him Sully would’ve been dead long time ago and ultimately it was Sully that brought him down and eventually kill him :(

I don't understand why everyone thinks dushane was obsessed with power and greed. He made it clear that he just wanted to make enough money so he could retire from the game. Its why he wanted jamie still alive, so jamie could take over as top boy and allow dushane to fully let go. Dushane stole the drugs cos all his cash had gone, and he needed a quick payday and to start a new life. Sully was the one who was married to the game, and actually wanted to be top boy, which is why he said "how about I just wanted your respect". Its also why hes so principled and does things that will force him to stay in the game longer, such as killing jamie or kieron.

Dushanes downfall went similarly to Franklin Saints. Except Dushane tried to run and make it out.

Notice how throughout the entire show including the "summerhouse" series in Channel 4, Dushane would always save Sully's life when he was in trouble. And then Sully kills Dushane and proceeds to die less than 24 hours after that. Bruh.
