Nice video! Been using the Next a lot for the past few months and I’m having a lot of fun with them. My favourite right now is the 4x80 but they work great with all wheel sizes up to 125mm 🔥🔥🔥

1:08 that is one of my subscribers MR BRED and BUTTER lmao!!

Tom Strikes again and incorporates another thing from my life and uses it as a meme. And again its something not everyone is on at the moment. Tom we're connected. Through more than blading. We might be eskimo bros.

I have the Next 100’s triskates - epic speed and straight up fun. I prefer it over a 4 x 80 setup. Also, the 100’s cruise over stones and such with no problem.

How fast can 80mm wheels cruise on flat surface with minimal effort?
How about 100mm wheels?

great review Tom! the problem with 80mm wheels it that they not keep the speed as good as 110/125mm, specially on bad concrete they struggle a lot. So IMO if you want to go smooth and fast on urban terrains, you need triskates !!

They downgraded it 😅 from Recall to basic liner and from 45 ratchet to velcro strap...

Thanks a lot for the presentation! After 25 years I want to get back to skating and love the Next Core 80.

Maybe someone can give me an advice to choose the correct size:
My bigger foot measures a length of 267 mm and a width of 107 mm (in the evening).
I chose a EU 42-43, but somehow it feels a bit tight. Not much but I worry that it will feel even tighter during the ride when feet swell.
On the other hand I read that it should fit tight.

How about your experiences? Does the liner get looser or should I return and get a EU 44-45?
But then I worry it might feel too loose…

I know it´s a First World problem but once the skates touches concrete, they Need to be the right ones…

Thanks for any word of advice!

If only they didn't fit so narrow. Oh well! I still love my FR1s for my wide-ass feet.

On the 90mm frame you can get a good rocker with 80 84 84 80.
Kind of a cheap wizard out of the box.

worse skates i've ever had, shattered 2 sets of shells in less than 6 months, just rolling a small pump track. powerslide did replace the first set, not the second. major design flaw in the front structure of the shell. 30 years of skating only shells to break on me.

So what does « core » means ? Is that an entry line ? Or the color code name ?
